Pick that one out.
The FAI Cup semi-final replay between Cork City and Bohemians took place last night and while Cork secured a 2-1 victory, it was a goal by a Bohs player that has gotten everyone talking.
With the Dublin side trailing 2-0 in the 59th minute, defender Ian Morris received the ball on the halfway line before taking it upon himself to fire home from 40 yards out.

While it ultimately wasn’t enough to get Bohs back into the game, Morris’ thunderbolt has certainly captured the imagination, not only here but around the world as well.

And people say there’s no talent in the League Of Ireland. While Morris soaks up the adulation, Cork City will now prepare to take on Dundalk in the FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium on November 4.
