Pick that one out.
The FAI Cup semi-final replay between Cork City and Bohemians took place last night and while Cork secured a 2-1 victory, it was a goal by a Bohs player that has gotten everyone talking.
With the Dublin side trailing 2-0 in the 59th minute, defender Ian Morris received the ball on the halfway line before taking it upon himself to fire home from 40 yards out.
If you missed it last night, here's the goal in all its glory...

While it ultimately wasn't enough to get Bohs back into the game, Morris' thunderbolt has certainly captured the imagination, not only here but around the world as well.
Soccer Republic's clip has been viewed an astonishing 763,000 times at the time of writing and has been met with approval by football legends such as former Arsenal and England star Ian Wright...

And Wrighty wasn't the only one who was amazed by Morris' strike...
Goodness me what a goal from Ian Morris for Bohs - a thunderbastard if ever there was one. #FAICup

To quote Bohs fan @ericlalor, I wouldn't be one for hyperbole, but Ian Morris just scored from 500 yards

And people say there's no talent in the League Of Ireland. While Morris soaks up the adulation, Cork City will now prepare to take on Dundalk in the FAI Cup Final at the Aviva Stadium on November 4.
