WATCH: This Irishman Had The Wimbledon Crowd In Stitches As He Joined In A Women’s Doubles Match

James Fenton

Us Irish are never shy about getting in front of a camera and trying out new things. “Wimbledon? I’ll probably win the feckin’ thing!”

That was clearly the thought going through the head of this fan as he piped up with some advice during a women’s doubles legends match involving former tennis star Kim Clijsters.

During the light-hearted exhibition game, Clijsters asked her teammate Rennae Stubbs whether she should serve wide or down the middle and of course this only served as bait for the Irishman who was quick to offer his two cents.

He has since been identified by the Wicklow News as Chris Quinn from Greystones and it wasn’t long before Clijsters asked him onto the court to show everyone how it should be done. He even donned the regulatory white skirt and the whole place was soon in raptures.

What an absolute legend.
