Details have been announced for the 11th Waterford Harvest Festival and by the sound of things, this year’s edition is going to be better than ever.

As always, the city will be transformed into a foodie wonderland with over 70 free and ticketed events taking place. Whatever your taste buds desire, you’re sure to be satisfied as some of Ireland’s top chefs descend on the Déise County for three days of gastronomical delights.

Across the weekend at John Roberts Square, attendees will be treated to masterclasses from Edward Hayden and GastroGays, along with Jenny Flynn (Faithlegg House Hotel), Emiliano Cislaghi (Emiliano’s Italian Restaurant), Eric Thezé (La Boheme), Eoin Aulsberry (Holy Cross Bar & Restaurant) and Sam Burfield (The Tannery).

That’s not all as there will be beer, gin and wine tasting events over the three days, unique dining experiences hosted by local restaurants, and, of course, the annual Blaa Eating Competition which takes place on Sunday at Arundel Square.

The festival will take place from Friday September 6 until Sunday September 8 and the aforementioned events are just a taster of what’s in store. You can check out the full programme via this link.
