San Fran Michelin star restaurant to team up with Cork bar for a gastronomic extravaganza

Katy Thornton

The chefs behind Osito restaurant are flying in specially.

The Glass Curtain in Cork will become hosts to Michelin star restaurant Osito, based in San Francisco, towards the end of October for a three-day gastronomic extravaganza.

Both businesses will bring what they do best to the table (literally), fine-dining for Osito, and bespoke cocktails for The Glass Curtain.

Osito’s Head Chef, Seth Stowaway and his co-chef and partner, Matt Hanley, as well as Osito’s leading beverage directors, Uzziel Pulido and Grace Ackerman will fly into Cork for the first time to put together this one-of-a-kind pop-up event.

Guests can expect an innovative and delicious tasting menu with 11 servings that features seasonal Cork produce mixed with the creativity of The Glass Curtain and Osito teams.

The pop-up will take place at The Glass Curtain on MacCurtain Street over the 19th October to the 21st October, between 5:30pm – 9:30pm. There will be 11 servings over a 5-course menu, priced at €120 per person, so if you have a special occasion coming up in October and don’t know how to celebrate, this might be just the thing.

Tickets are already available to purchase on The Glass Curtain website now.
