The grand stretch in the evenings is gradually getting longer as we come into summer. And with longer days come even prettier sunsets.

Us Irish adore sunsets. We love them so much that we have a saying based upon them which allows us to forecast the weather for the next day; red sky at night, shepherd’s delight.

We’ve scoured Instagram and Twitter to find your best shots of Irish sunsets from all of the 32 counties of Ireland, each with different character from the last.
