The grand stretch in the evenings is gradually diminishing as we slip slowly into Autumn. But with shorter days come earlier sunsets.

Us Irish adore sunsets. We love them so much that we have a saying based upon them which allows us to forecast the weather for the next day; red sky at night, shepherd's delight.

We've scoured Instagram and Twitter to find your best shots of Irish sunsets from all of the 32 counties of Ireland, each with different character from the last.
