If you’re wondering where to go for dinner now that the good weather is finally making an appearance, then look no further.
The much-loved Il Vicolo on Dominick Street Lower has reopened its cute riverside terrace for the summer months and I can’t think of a better way to while away an evening.
The restaurant and wine bar has introduced delicious new food and drink menus too, including an extensive wine menu featuring more than 80 wines as well as plenty of refreshing cocktails.
Dishes on the new summer menu will change monthly to reflect the best seasonal produce and you can expect to see the likes of burrata with organic leaves and Sicilian caponata as well and prawns with white wine, chili, garlic and focaccia.
If you’re looking to enjoy drinks on their heated terrace, they do a fab happy hour every weekend from 4pm – 6pm with a changing selection of summery cocktail specials for just €6.
As well as that, the longer summer evenings will see their ever-popular Sunday night jazz running until 10.30pm.
Their extended summer opening hours are: Monday to Thursday 5pm – 10pm, Friday 5pm – 10pm, Saturday 12pm – 11pm, and Sunday 12pm – 10.30pm.
You can check out their full menu and find more details on Il Vicolo’s website here.
