When it comes to dining out chicken wings are always a reliable option, they're the ultimate crowd-pleaser.

And Galway has some pretty incredible options. From straight up sticky BBQ to Korean fried wings – we've tried em all.

So here's our pick of the best spots for wangs in G-G-G-Galway...

Biteclub, Upper Abbeygate Street

€7.50 for sweet 'n' spicy sticky wings in the coolest street food club around?

Sold.

Buddha Bar, Mary Street

These crispy Dakgang Jeong Korean chicken wings are fried in a sweet and spicy yet acidic paste. Dusted with turmeric and served with homemade chilli sauce, they are 100% gluten free

I have gone here for cocktails and wings many a time and have never been disappointed. It's €5.50 for a single portion but it's generally better to opt for the €10 sharing portion 'cos everyone is gonna wanna try some.

Clever, I know...

At €6.95 for a starter portion and just €10.95 for a main WITH a side of garlic bread, you wouldn't be going hungry in G-town at all.

Choose from The Cellar's famous hot sauce or a Texan BBQ one, and these wings go unreal with Blue Moon beer.

Cactus Jacks, Druid Lane

These crisp fried, Louisiana buffalo butter sauce smothered chicken wings are served with Cactus Jacks' tasty blue cheese and mayo dip.

Simply delectable wings in a part of Galway that is steeped in culture and history.
