A Violent Robbery Took Place In A Limerick Jewellery Shop Yesterday

A female jewellery shop assistant suffered a horrific ordeal yesterday morning when a man entered the store and threatened her with a knife.

She was also thrown to the ground by the assailant, who was wearing a blue puffy jacket and light blue bottoms, and dragged to the cash register.

According to the Irish Independent, the incident tok place around 11am at Seoidin jewellers on Thomas Street in the city. 

A man was arrested a short time later and is due in court today.
