Limerick is set to attract 40,000 people to the city this June bank holiday weekend as it plays host to the Limerick International Food Truck Festival.
The event is the first of its kind in Ireland and is part of the European Food Truck Association’s annual festival.
60 food trucks from 14 different countries will descend on the Treaty City with cuisine ranging from Oriental, American, French, Mexican, and BBQ food as well as the opportunity to taste unusual dishes such as shark and crocodile.Â

The festival will take place in the People’s Park in the city from June 1-5.
