Nine beautiful spots for outdoor yoga in Ireland

Over the past two years, our ride or die Yoga with Adriene was there for us when times got bleak.

And by “there for us”, I mean she provided a space for us to sit on the couch and watch her dog napping while she crow posed like it was going outa style. It was just what we needed. But now that we’re getting back out and about once more, you might be craving the community of a physical class. If you’re staycationing in Ireland over the coming months and looking for ways to unwind, there’s really nothing better than an outdoor yoga session. And not to toot the country’s horn or anything, but we’re home to some of the most beautiful spots in the world for a bitta downward dog. Here’s a list of our faves:

1. Inishowen Yoga, Donegal

Choose from class on one of Donegal’s most stunning beaches, or in the peaceful setting of beautiful Barrack Hill Town Park. Both absolutely dreamy.

2. Your Wellbeing Warrior, Sligo

Whether you fancy a bitta yoga on the beach, in a forest or even on an island off the coast, Blaithin from Your Wellbeing Warrior has you covered. Loads of amazing locations and classes for all levels.

3. Noga Yoga Castlebar, Mayo

This practice follows the sun and bases classes around the weather (a safe bet in Ireland). Keep an eye on their Facebook if you’re in the area and looking to get involved.

4. Doolin Yoga, Clare

What did we tell you about Ireland having the most beautiful spots for all your namaste needs? With Doolin Yoga you choose from a class on the literal Cliffs of Moher, or on beautiful Fanore Beach.

5. Louise Yoga Therapy, Kerry

Stretch and flow along the serene Waterville seafront accompanied by the sounds of waves crashing and birds singing.

6. Dandelion Yoga, Cork

Options for classes in the beautiful Ballymaloe gardens, or the stunning grounds of Fota. You’ll adore this peaceful practice.

8. Creacon Wellness, Wexford

A retreat centre with space for you to relax, recharge and soak up a bitta that south east vitamin D.

9. Aisling Vesque Yoga, Wicklow/Dublin

Classes on South Beach in Greystones or Shankill strand, with group swims and cacao too.

I feel more zen just from writing that, not gonna lie. Let us know if we missed your favourite outdoor yoga spot, and in the meantime namaste to all.
