These 10 Studio Apartments Around Ireland Under €1000 Are Surprisingly Lovely

Trying to find a decent place to live in this country is harder than ever before.

And as for trying to find decent people to live with? Even harder.

If you're not lucky enough to have a few mates willing to move out with you, then chances are you'll be spending your evenings searching for rooms to rent from complete randomers.

Whether you end up sharing with sesh moths who bring the party home every single night of the week, or someone who gets aggro when you bring your mate in for a cup of tea at 6pm and then complains you didn't wipe your fingerprints off the wooden fridge door (true story), living with other people is pretty shite.

So what to do? Well, the good news is that there are a few places out there that are just about affordable and not absolutely disgusting.

Here's 11 spaces perfect for one person living solo and loving it xox

1.Tur Uisce, Doughiska, Co. Galway - €800

This cosy one bed place may look a little sparse, but it's spacious and clean and you could live there allllll alone <3

2. The School House, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim - €430

This one bed rooftop apartment has all you could ever need - including a cute little balcony that would be easily brightened up with some potted plants and flowers.

There's even enough space to invite more than four people over!

3. Southgate Center, Dublin Road, D, Drogheda, Co. Louth - €1,000

This beautiful fully furnished one bed apartment is swish.

The building itself is brand new, the decor is super glam, and it's kinda huge too. Only downside? They're asking for three months rent upfront - bit steep.

Louth Apt

4.Old Mill, Ravensdale, Co. Louth - €700

This place is niiiiice. Look at those fancy bar stools! And a fireplace for snuggling up to when it's cold and you've no real-life snuggle bunny.

This is a pretty decent home that's 100% livable.

5. Copley Place, Cork City, Co. Cork - €1,000

Now thisis what we call luxe living.

Those muted grey tones and and stylish white brick wall make this probably one of the slickest apartments in Cork right now. We love.

6. Mount Suir Manor, Grace Dieu, Waterford City, Co. Waterford - €550

City living for less than 600 quid wudja be well? This one bed apartment has an open plan sitting room and kitchen, and green views from the bedroom.

Pop some nice sheets on that bed and you'll be sleeping like a log.

7. Bancroft, Oldbawn, Dublin 24 - €1,000

This duplex one bed apartment is just an eight minute walk from the Red LUAS line - handy for anyone working in town.

Ad the ad itself says, "this is a must-see for anybody looking for a warm welcoming home."

8. Manor Court, Cork Road, Waterford City, Co. Waterford - €495

This studio apartment is actually huge for a "studio", even the kitchen is separate.

It has private access to a courtyard and is in a nice quiet area.

9. Blarney Street, Cork City, Co. Cork - €900

This super central apartment is surprisingly big, and those white walls are just begging to be adorned with leafy plants and cool wall hangings.

You'd be amazed at how cool this place could look with a bitta style.

Cork Studio2
Cork Studio1
Cork Studio

10. Castleview Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22 - €850

This studio apartment is sooo cuuuuute. <3

Perfectly showing how to make the most out of a studio space, it's comfy and inviting without being cramped.
