Trying to find a decent place to live in this country is harder than ever before.
And as for trying to find decent people to live with? Even harder.
If you’re not lucky enough to have a few mates willing to move out with you, then chances are you’ll be spending your evenings searching for rooms to rent from complete randomers.
Whether you end up sharing with sesh moths who bring the party home every single night of the week, or someone who gets aggro when you bring your mate in for a cup of tea at 6pm and then complains you didn’t wipe your fingerprints off the wooden fridge door (true story), living with other people is pretty shite.
So what to do? Well, the good news is that there are a few places out there that are just about affordable and not absolutely disgusting.
Here’s 11 spaces perfect for one person living solo and loving it xox
1.Tur Uisce, Doughiska, Co. Galway – €800
This cosy one bed place may look a little sparse, but it’s spacious and clean and you could live there allllll alone <3
