

There's been no shortage of colourful graphics tracking to the worrying progression of the ex-hurricane Ophelia over Ireland, but the view from a satellite is probably even more frightening.
Met Éireann acquired images of the storm taken from orbit between 10am-2.15pm today and shared them on Twitter.

This is one of the biggest weather events in the history of our country, which has resulted in two fatalities already, so be sure not to underestimate the danger it poses.
