A Man Has Been Found Dead In A Wicklow House Fire

An Gardaí Síochána are investigating the death of an elderly man in County Wicklow.

Emergency services reported to the scene after reports of a house fire on Windermere Avenue in Arklow, County Wicklow at 8.30am this morning.

According to Breaking News, the remains of the man were found inside the home.

His body still remains at the scene – which has been preserved for a technical examination. A post mortem is expected to be carried out to determine the cause of his death.
