Popular Wicklow restaurant reopening from tomorrow

Wicklow Heather

Idyllically set in Laragh village, Wicklow Heather is just minutes from Glendalough, making it a popular fixture with both locals and blow-ins alike. Warm and cosy, it’s just very Irish which is sometimes exactly what the doctor ordered.

The perfect spot for a catch-up, it’s also the only place for a feed when you’ve finished soaking up the sights and are all walked out, especially when the sun shines and you can sit outside.

Confirming the long-awaited news that they’ll be reopening (for takeaway service only for now) on Instagram, the team announced that they’ll be back in business from tomorrow – opening early Saturday morning at 10am until 7pm.

As for what’s on the menu? Rest assured there are plenty of options including the likes of breakfast baps, fish and chips, lasagne, Moroccan tagine (vegan friendly) and soup. As well as plenty of sweet treats from cheesecake to apple pie. A steaming hot cuppa and one of the famous Wicklow Heather scones will definitely help start your weekend off on the right foot.

Also set to reopen their restaurant and guest accommodation from Monday, June 29th the team is already accepting reservations and you can do so online or by calling them directly.
