The brand-new Museum of Modern Literature (MoLI) opened in Dublin for the first time on Culture Night and has been welcoming visitors ever since.
Celebrating Ireland’s rich literary heritage, the museum pays tribute to some of the greats.
From Samuel Beckett and Sally Rooney to W.B. Yeats and Bram Stoker, there’s a generous mix of both past and present talent.

Culture Night saw the museum, which is set in the newly renovated UCD Newman House, treat guests to immersive exhibitions and pop-up performances and readings.

Taking inspiration from the world-renowned work of James Joyce, visitors got the chance to explore Joycean artefacts from the National Library of Ireland (the very first copy of Ulysses amongst them) as well as the works of other iconic Irish authors.

Opening night proved to be a roaring success and luckily there are loads of events (including concerts, performances and workshops) lined up to keep the momentum going.
