A Garda Was Caught On TV Writing A Drink-Driving Summons With A Pretty Inappropriate Object

References to alcohol are hard to avoid in Ireland, but we really think this Garda could have made more of an effort.

On Claire Byrne Live last night, a Garda was spotted writing out a drink-driving summons - with a Guinness pen.

The segment was part of an investigation looking at Ireland's district court system, after fewer than half of drink-driving prosecutions initiated by Gardai last year resulted in convictions.

Seriously, use a regular pen next time.
