A New Liam Gallagher Documentary Is Coming To Irish Cinemas

James Fenton

As you were.

Three words that Liam Gallagher’s Twitter followers will need no introduction to. The sentence has become a regular sign-off at the end of the former Oasis man’s thinly-veiled jibes at his brother Noel, his rallying cries for his beloved Manchester City, and his surprisingly profound musings on life.

With all that said, it’s quite appropriate that the singer’s first solo cinematic offering will be called Liam Gallagher: As It Was.

Since the break-up of Oasis, Liam has arguably retained the more down-to-earth persona, adopting a ‘man of the people’ vibe which contrasts with the somewhat dour demeanour of his brother Noel.

Aside from that, the younger Gallagher has become quite the draw for concert-goers, and the film will document his solo career since leaving Oasis and Beady Eye behind him.

Liam Gallagher: As It Was will be released in Irish cinemas on Friday June 7 and you can get a taster in the trailer below.
