Derry Girls star Siobhan McSweeney is in Galway at the moment. There as part of the Galway 2020 celebrations, she'll partake in the Wild Atlantic Women series of events organised in honour of International Women's Day.
Beloved for her portrayal of the hilarious Sister Michael on Derry Girls, Siobhan has proven
time and
time again that she is just as gas in real life -this time delighting fans with her antics out west.
It seems that the rumour mill has been spurning out "fake news", saying that the Corkwoman was spotted tucking into some chips at Supermac's in Salthill.
Hoping to put the whole thing to bed, Siobhan took to Twitter to say:
"Someone is spreading a dreadful rumour that I have been spotted in SuperMacs in Salthill eating cheesy garlic chips by myself. And I've definitely not dropped cheese down my top. Lies. #FakeNews."
