A true American legend has been spotted by eagle-eyed fans in Belfast today who must have gotten the shock of their lives when they realised who they were gazing at.

Can you imagine walking down the street and bumping into Morgan Freeman?!

Yep, the Shawshank Redemption star was just strolling around the Belfast city streets today, as ya do.

Belfast Live first reported the sightings, and pretty soon Twitter was flooded with snaps of the star.
