Nicola Coughlan is raffling off the bubblegum pink dress she once wore to the BAFTA Awards for charity.

Best known for playing Clare Devlin on Derry Girls, Nicola Coughlan has captured the nation’s hearts with her charm and quick wit – both on and off-screen… follow her on Twitter and you’ll see what I mean. Not one to sit back and be idle, the actress is known for being quite vocal when it comes to matters she holds close to her heart – one of those being Laura Lynn House, Ireland’s only children’s hospice.

Asking fans whether they’d like the chance to win her iconic pink BAFTA dress (there’s only one answer and that’s yes, obviously), Nicola revealed that she’ll be auctioning the frock off to raise much-needed funds for charity.

Tweeting a photo of herself in said dress, just for reference, Nicola went on to say:

“I visited LauraLynn last December and I was so touched by the incredible work they do for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. I also got to see how important fundraising&how they rely on it to continue to provide such a vital service.”

Adding that the auction will run for two weeks, you can enter as many times as you like. Encouraging people to support in any way they can, Nicola assured fans that the material would also make some ‘lovely cushions or a tea cosy’ so there’s always that option if the BAFTA dress isn’t exactly your style.
