Dumbledore Is Rumoured To Be Openly Gay In Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

J.K Rowling confirmed at a recent press conference that the newest series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will feature several characters from the Harry Potter universe, of which she created.

Fans hoping to get a glimpse of a young Albus Dumbledore will need to wait for the second-of-five part of the series, however. 

Older and wiser Dumbledore never did reveal his sexual orientation in the books or films, but author Rowling let the cat out of the bag in a 2007 interview stating that:

Well, I’m very comfortable with the question. I would like to say because this is obviously a five-part story, there’s lots to unpack in that relationship.

Adding to that enormous hint, Rowling went onto say at a press conference this week:

You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man. We’ll see him at that formative period of his life. As far as his sexuality is concerned, watch this space.

Telling, indeed!
