Viewers have already made calls for it to be an annual occasion.
Last night’s Late Late Show went down a treat with viewers, who have been heaping praise on the programme for shining a spotlight on struggling Irish businesses. An incredibly tough time for local traders and restaurateurs, last night’s show gave people a platform to showcase their wares – encouraging the public to continue supporting homegrown talent this festive season.
Chatting to several different business owners throughout the show, Ryan learned of how entrepreneurs have had to change with the times and adapt how they do things in order to continue trading. Comparing it to the ever-popular Toy Show episode, many have said that last night’s programme was like a “Toy Show for adults”.
Anyone else feeling like this is the toy show for adults ? Maith sibh #LateLateshow 😍

I don't know why but the #LateLateshow grants that are being given out to small Irish businesses is the biggest feel good moment I've seen on TV this year 😭❤️

Already making calls for it to be an annual feature, onlookers were thoroughly impressed by the huge amount of Irish talent out there – saying that the showcase has helped to give them some helpful ideas for gifts in the run-up to Christmas.
As for the actual Toy Show? Mark your calendars, because that’s set for November 27th at 9:35pm. Claiming that this year’s show is “possibly the most important of all time”, Ryan has promised that there will be singing, dancing and all of the usual merriment you’d expect of the yearly special. We can’t wait.
