Laura Whitmore joins this year’s islanders and adds a ‘gh’ to her name

Laura Whitmore has changed her name on Twitter.

Yer one off the telly is pure gas.

Laura Whitmore has changed her Twitter name in solidarity with this year’s islands. Whatever you make of her as the new present of Love Island, you can’t deny she has a great sense of humour.

Showing her support for what must be a daily struggle, Laura added a ‘gh’ to the end of her name in honour of islanders Shaughna Phillips and Connagh Howard.

Hilarious.

Posting a photo of the change to her Instagram, the Whitmore captioned it:

“Here for Connagh and Shaughna! LOVING all the Twitter banter”.

What a woman. All she needs to do now is change her last name to Fudge in solidarity with Siannise.

No sign of boyfriend, and voiceover star, Iain Stirling to do the same…though admittedly it would be difficult to slot a ‘gh’ in there.

Last night’s episode marked day five in the villa and saw things heat up with the entry of two new islanders. Connagh and Finnley started their Love Island journey with two dates each, before entering the house and meeting the rest of the gang.

With one contestant already gone, tonight will see Laura Whitmore enter the villa for the first recoupling of the series.

The drama of it all.
