Liam Gallagher has announced a live stream performance which will feature his solo work as well as some ‘stone cold Oasis classics’, in the words of the man himself.
Entitled ‘Liam Gallagher: Down By The River Thames’, the show will be available for all to watch on Saturday, December 5. Announcing the news this morning, the former Oasis man posted: ‘I’m performing a one off celestial live performance for you to stream, ‘Down By The River Thames’, on 5th Dec 2020. I’m performing tracks from my two number 1 solo albums and some stone cold Oasis classics, some of which you haven’t heard for a long, long time.’

Eagle-eyed Londoners have already spotted Gallagher recored the show, or at least part of it, on a boat on the River Thames over the past few days. Ticket details haven’t been made available yet but it’s definitely one to look forward to for the Liam/Oasis fans out there, even if Level 5 restrictions are finished by then. It’s not often you have a Gallagher brother live in your living room, in fairness.
Liam Gallagher has been a busy man over the past few of years, releasing his first solo album As You Were in 2017 and a follow-up called Why Me? Why Not just last year. With an Oasis reunion unlikely to be on the horizon any time soon, Down By The River Thames could be a decent alternative.
