Matt Damon had become part of the furniture in Dalkey for a large portion of this year but the actor has since upped sticks and moved to the midlands.
A dollop of Hollywood glamour was sprinkled on Dalkey during the spring as Matt Damon spent a prolonged period in the Dublin seaside town, working on a new film and, well, posing for photos. While residents of Dalkey would have been only delighted to host the Bourne star throughout the autumn, work commitments have taken him elsewhere.
Yep, Damon has now swapped stunning Dalkey for the beautiful surroundings of Cahir Castle in Co. Tipperary, where work is continuing on Ridley Scott’s upcoming epic The Last Duel. He is joined by his old pal Ben Affleck as well as Jodie Comer of Killing Eve fame and Adam Driver of Marriage Story.

The crew are currently being housed in ‘bio bubbles’ in the exclusive K Club in Co. Kildare and their stint working in Cahir will be brief as their due to wrap up there on Wednesday.
Matt and co. are clearly working hard and getting to see plenty of Ireland as well. The Last Duel is scheduled for release in October 2021.
