As movie double acts go this is a pretty decent pairing.
Irishman and general sound lad Domhnall Gleeson teams up with Hollywood legend Tom Cruise in the upcoming black comedy/crime thriller American Made, directed by Mr And Mrs. Smith chief Doug Liman.
The flick tells the true story of airline pilot turned drug smuggler Barry Seal (Cruise) who is recruited by the Drug Enforcement Administration to provide intelligence.
Gleeson plays Tom's handler Monty Schafer and looks to have put in another impressive performance with his American accent on point.
The film looks like a pretty thrilling and funny watch and there is definitely a whiff of Catch Me If You Can and The Wolf Of Wall Street about it. Maybe Leo DiCaprio wasn't available?
