The Electric Picnic festival is set to announce its first wave of acts for 2017 at 12 noon and released tickets this morning ahead of the big news.
Unfortunately, if you were in the queue and happened to blink you’ve more than likely ended up disappointed.Â
Tickets were on sale for about seven minutes before the festival’s official Twitter account confirmed that Sunday tickets were sold out.

RTE are now reporting that weekend tickets are now sold out too. Â A lot of people have been waiting in the queue all morning and have released their frustration online:
How the fuck does #EP2017 sell out before any act is announced this is a joke
