The first headline act for All Together Now 2020 has been confirmed

James Fenton

All Together Now has confirmed that the 2020 edition of the Waterford festival will be headlined by the one and only Godfather Of Punk, Iggy Pop.

The American-born musician will take to the Curraghmore Estate stage for what will be his first Irish performance in 12 years. Iggy sprang to fame as lead vocalist of The Stooges in the late-1960s before going on to have a hugely successful solo career. Now regarded as one of the most dynamic stage performers in the world, the presence of Mr. Pop is sure to have people scrambling for All Together Now tickets over the coming months.

Those who grew up in the 1990s will have fond memories of Iggy’s 1977 song Lust For Life featuring on the Trainspotting soundtrack and the thoughts of banging our heads to it in a muddy field over the August Bank Holiday is getting us excited already tbh…

Real name James Osterberg Jr., Iggy Pop is the first of what is sure to be a stellar list of names added to the All Together Now 2020 line-up. Tickets are on sale now and you can make sure you get yours via this link.
