The Chase has been given a new lease of life in recent weeks, following the hugely successful run of its spin-off show Beat The Chasers.
The updated version of The Chase aired across five nights last week and the format was well-received, attracting high viewing figures. Beat The Chasers ran just a few weeks after ITV bosses confirmed that a new chaser would be joining the pack on the regular show in the form of Irishman Darragh Ennis.
A former contestant on the show himself, Darragh has been faced with multiple questions about his new role and to stem the tide, he's answered four of the most popular ones in one simple tweet. He didn't reveal much though, telling fans that he won't be telling them when his first appearance, what his nickname will be or what he will be wearing. One thing he did reveal though is that he won't be replacing any other chasers so we haven't seen the last of The Beast, The Governess et al...
Right I'm being asked the same questions quite a lot about The Chase.
1. I am not telling you when my first appearance is. Keep watching the show and you'll find out
2. I'm not allowed to reveal my nickname
3. Or my outfit
4. No one is leaving, I'm not replacing a chaser.

Let's hope Darragh is a bit better at answering questions when he starts his new job, eh? You can keep up to date with his news by following him on Twitter here.
