They are everyone’s favourite Irish boyband. They have some whopper tunes that still slap today.
But I don’t know if I can look at them the same now after seeing this. It just can’t be unseen.
Footage has emerged on Twitter of Westlife performing Don’t Cha by The Pussycat Dolls and, well, it’s an awful lot to process.
Someone tweeted the video with the caption, “Westlife singing Don’t cha by The Pussycat Dolls is interesting.”

Meanwhile, another Twitter user described it as “traumatizing”.

Okay, that might be a bit dramatic, but we definitely feel some kind of way about it.
Actress and star of Derry Girls Nicola Coughlan perfectly summed up our feelings about it when she wrote on Twitter, “There’s a lot to unpack here”.

I mean, right from the get-go Nicky is in there with the hip thrusts.
And can we please take a moment to talk about the outfits. The baggy jeans and the hoodies just really give it that extra edge.
And obviously, they changed the lyrics to “Don’t you wish your boyfriend was hot like me.”
You know what lads, I do wish my boyfriend was hot like you. I do wish he was a freak like you.
Well, friends, I never thought I would be putting Westlife and The Pussycat Dolls together. But I have to say, the more I watch it, the more I’m becoming obsessed with it.
If this isn’t performed at the reunion tour, then that is a serious missed opportunity.
