Omniplex Cinemas announce the full line-up of movies coming this Friday

Rory Cashin

A mix of 27 brand new releases, Christmas classics, and everything in between.

Yesterday, Omniplex announced the 15 cinemas around the country opening this Friday, and today they have announced the full line-up of movies that they’ll be showing on the big screen once they’ve reopened.

There has been a few months of releases that either missed out entirely on getting a big screen release, or they got a smaller-than-expected release during the summer, right before the cinemas were asked to close again due to heightened restrictions. For those new and “newer” releases, here is that full list:

New releases:

  • A Girl From Mogadishu
  • Crock of Gold – A Few Rounds with Shane MacGowan
  • The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone
  • The Prom
  • Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom
  • Pixie
  • Honest Thief
  • Finding Jack Charlton
  • The Craft: Legacy
  • Kajillionaire
  • Wolfwalkers
  • Cats & Dogs: Paws Unite!
  • Tenet
  • After We Collided
  • Words On Bathroom Walls
  • Two By Two: Overboard
  • The Secret Garden
  • The Elfkins

And then there are some movies that are a few (or more than a few) years old, and Omniplex are bringing them back to the big screen, the full selection of classics coming to cinemas can be found right here:

Returning classics:

  • The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Love, Actually
  • Fantasia
  • Coco
  • The Jungle Book (2016)
  • Cinderella (2015)
  • Zootropolis
  • Alice In Wonderland (2010)
  • Big Hero 6

Not all of the above movies will be available in all cinemas, and some of the above selection will only be available on specific days from Friday onwards. For the full details of which cinemas will be showing which movies on which days and at what times (y’know, all of the important information), then you can head right here.
