We’ve seen some pretty random house for sale listings in our time (moment of silence for the Clondalkin Marilyn Monroe gaff), but a house in Cork may have just topped the list.
Spotted by Denise O’Donoghue on Twitter, it’s not the actual house for sale that has so many people freaking out.
At first glance, No.2 Hill Terrace in Bandon, Cork, seems pretty normal.
A three-bed, two-bath home with the following ameneties seems pretty grand for €144,000…
Entrance Hall, Sitting Room, Family Room/Dining Room, Kitchen, Shower Room. Three bedrooms, Family Bathroom.Â
Outside: On-street parking, west-facing rear garden set in lawn.
So far, so normal right?
Let’s just revisit the:Â Outside: On-street parking, west-facing rear garden set in lawn.
This. GARDEN. Holy shit (extreme emphasis on holy.)
While the house itself’s garden is grand, it’s the next door neighbours garden that has us wondering if Mrs.Doyle from Father Ted is in fact a real person and has moved to Cork, bringing the entire religious contents of Craggy Island with her.
Eyes to the left people…
And naturally, people on Twitter can’t help but make the Father Ted comparison too.
Reminds me of the Fr Ted Nazi house, but with a different colour scheme… pic.twitter.com/4OFVmJ47Th
