Presidential dog Misneach is officially famous as U.S. media shares his antics to millions of followers

Ah, Misneach. You’re barely a few months old and already you’re getting in trouble for acting up while the grown-ups are talking.

President Higgins’ Bernese mountain dog Misneach attracted attention over the weekend when he appeared alongside his human on RTÉ news. The little fella was getting up to all sorts of messing, pulling at Michael D, licking his hands and basically doing whatever he could to get his owner’s attention.

The clip went viral in Ireland after being shared by reporter Sinéad Crowley and it has since gotten tongues wagging across the Atlantic as well. The video was picked up by Newsweek and shared to all of their 3.4 million following on Twitter and it appears to have gone down just as well over there as it has here…

It won’t be long before Misneach gets himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Newsweek also produced an accompanying article on Higgins’ furry friend, which you can read here.
