Subtitling a live news broadcast must be a hugely difficult task and one we certainly don't envy.

The level of speed and attention to detail required to carry out the task means that mistakes will inevitably happen and sometimes those mistakes can be pretty hilarious. Like this incident from earlier today, for example.

All eyes have been on the Brexit chaos currently unfolding and naturally a lot of people are turning to Sky News to keep up to date. The station was broadcasting live from Government Buildings in Dublin when incredibly the words 'Irish whore lawyers' flashed up on the screen.

The error was spotted by eagle-eyed Reddit user imsolowkey and is sure to have raised a few chuckles from others who happened to be watching.

Considering the amount of pressure Brexit is putting on people, we'll let them away with this one.
