TedFest will return to Craggy Island this March

Careful now.

After a two year hiatus for… obvious reasons, TedFest will return to Craggy Island (Inis Mór) in March of this year.

Father Ted stans will be in for a treat with a jam packed line up including but not limited to the annual Lovely Girls Competition, Ted’s Got Talent, Craggy Island’s fittest family, Matchmaking with Nellie, Priests Dance Off, The Pan Asian Zen-Off, the Father Ted Prizeless Quiz, the Craggy Cup and Blind Date.

Original cast members Fr Damo (Joe Rooney) and Eoin McLove (Patrick McDonell) are also confirmed for this years festival, along with copious cups of tea and sandwiches, a lot of red tank-tops, nuns on the run, priests on the pull, map-cap costumes and most importantly, a bishop getting a kick up the arse.

Competition is expected to be rife as ever for the Lovely Girls Competition – they’ve had three lockdowns to practice their lovely talents, lovely laughs and cone walking, in fairness.

If you’ve yet to join the legions of Father Ted fanatics who meet every year, when the weather’s shite, on a small island in the Atlantic, here’s a glimpse of what you can expect from Tedfest:

Tedfest takes place on Inis Mór Island from March 3rd-6th 2022, and tickets are available HERE. Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.
