Emma Corrin will star as Princess Diana in the upcoming fourth season of The Crown.

The Crown is set to return to Netflix for a fourth season on November 15 and will take in events surrounding the Royal Family throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s. This era will of course take in the introduction of Princess Diana to the lives of those in Buckingham Palace and the small matter of her 1981 wedding to Prince Charles.

The occasion is still remembered as one of the biggest events of the eighties and Diana’s famous wedding dress has now been recreated for the hugely popular Netflix show. A picture was shared to The Crown’s Twitter account last night which shows 24-year-old actress Emma Corrin decked out in a version of the David and Elizabeth Emanuel design.

The recreation is the work of costume designer Amy Roberts, who in 2016 won an Emmy Award for her work on the show…

Earlier this week, The Crown shared sneak peeks at Corrin as Diana, as well as Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and you can check them out here.

Season four of The Crown is definitely one to look forward to this coming winter and you can catch it all on Netflix from November 15.
