The Full Line-Up For Slane 2019 Has Been Confirmed

James Fenton

It’s just around a month until thousands of Metallica fans descend on Slane Castle for what is usually the most high-profile date on the Irish music calendar.

The show will be the band’s first on these shores for more than a decade and they’ll definitely have plenty of support after the full line-up for Slane 2019 was announced today.

Taking to the stage before the main event will be Swedish rockers Ghost and Norwegian trio Bokassa, who were both chosen by the band themselves. Metallica’s Lars Ulrich told Kerrang! that ‘everybody in our band is a huge fan of Ghost’ and that ‘Bokassa are incredibly f*cking good.’

As well as that, there will be some Irish representation in the form of Dublin band Fangclub and Stiff Little Fingers from Belfast.

Slane 2019 takes place on Saturday June 8 and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.
