The brand new trailer is definitely getting people talking…
Much like judging a book by the cover, you should never judge a movie by the trailer.
Maybe the trailer is terrible, and the movie will be great, or you’ll be suckered in by a great trailer, only for the finished product to leave you feeling very disappointed.
With that in mind, the first trailer for Stardust, the upcoming biopic of David Bowie, has landed and people are not holding back on their reactions.
Stardust features Johnny Flynn (Emma, Vanity Fair) as Bowie, and the movie is set to tell the story of how he came up with his Ziggy Stardust alter ego.
The movie also stars Jena Malone (The Hunger Games) and Marc Maron (Glow), and while we will wait until we actually the movie before giving our professional opinion on it, some folks on Twitter have given their honest thoughts…
The trailer for upcoming Bowie biopic Stardust inspires many thoughts, few of them polite.
One is a grim fascination with how far this cinematic trend will go. Get Down: The Gilbert O'Sullivan Story?
Another is to remember how good Velvet Goldmine was.https://t.co/UFH9dNu51y
