There’s an Instagram account dedicated to funny Irish headlines and it’s such a laugh

This Instagram account posts screenshots of fairly bizarre Irish headlines and I have to admit, I’m quite obsessed with it.

If there is one thing I love, it’s social media accounts like this.

Out of context Reeling In The Years? Sign me up. Ugly Irish houses? Absolutely. Celebs visiting Navan? Hook it to my veins.

And I have stumbled across another one that gives my idiotic and strange sense of humour everything it needs right now.

There is an Instagram account dedicated to weird, out of context and simply bizarre Irish headlines, and I cannot get enough.

Of course, we all remember that brief celeb beef between Dickie Rock and Johnny Logan. I’m still not over it.

I think one of my personal favourites has to be “Tanning salon that suggested UV light can cure coronavirus closed by Gardaí”. You really can’t write this stuff.

Or perhaps “Woman dressed as celery ejected from Kerry polling station”. There is so much to process there.

Or what about this bold statement: “Why Daniel O’Donnel should rule us all.” Be honest, you can’t really disagree with that, can you?

I think the phrase ‘only in Ireland’ is thrown around far too much nowadays. But it is the only way I can actually describe this Instagram account.
