SATURDAY, APRIL 10

Alien: Covenant – Channel 4 – 9pm

The crew of a colony ship, bound for a remote planet, discover an uncharted paradise with a threat beyond their imagination, and must attempt a harrowing escape. Stars Michael Fassbender, Katerine Waterston, and Danny McBride.

Men In Black – Sky One – 9pm

A police officer (Will Smith) joins a secret organisation that polices and monitors extraterrestrial interactions on Earth, partnered up with an older agent (Tommy Lee Jones).

Rocky – ITV4 – 9pm

A small-time boxer (Sylvester Stallone) gets a supremely rare chance to fight a heavyweight champion in a bout in which he strives to go the distance for his self-respect.

Skyscraper – FilmFour – 9pm

A security expert (Dwayne Johnson) must infiltrate a burning skyscraper, 225 stories above ground, when his family is trapped inside by criminals.

The Shallows – BBC One – 11.25pm

A mere 200 yards from shore, surfer Nancy (Blake Lively) is attacked by a great white shark, with her short journey to safety becoming the ultimate contest of wills.

Rocky II – ITV4 – 11.35pm

Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) struggles in family life after his bout with Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), while the embarrassed champ insistently goads him to accept a challenge for a rematch.

What Women Want – Comedy Central – 6.30pm

A cocky, chauvinistic advertising executive (Mel Gibson) magically acquires the ability to hear what women are thinking.

High-strung father-to-be Peter Highman (Robert Downey Jr.) is forced to hitch a ride with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) on a road trip in order to make it to his child’s birth on time.

In a future where mutants are nearly extinct, an elderly and weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) leads a quiet life. But when Laura, a mutant child pursued by scientists, comes to him for help, he must get her to safety.

The Maze Runner – E4 – 9pm

Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow “runners” for a shot at escape.

The Founder – Sky One – 9pm

The story of Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), a salesman who turned two brothers’ innovative fast food eatery, McDonald’s, into the biggest restaurant business in the world, with a combination of ambition, persistence, and ruthlessness.

Pretty Woman – Comedy Central – 9pm

A man (Richard Gere) in a legal but hurtful business needs an escort for some social events, and hires a beautiful prostitute (Julia Roberts) he meets… only to fall in love.
