The trilogy-closer of The Matrix movies is arguably the worst of the three, but it also has some incredible, jaw-dropping action sequences scattered throughout.

Arnie stars as a former FBI agent turned small-town sheriff, who agrees to help the FBI chief infiltrate the Chicago mafia when the FBI chief’s son is killed by them.
The Next Three Days – Virgin Media One – 9.30pm
Russell Crowe, Elisabeth Banks, and Liam Neeson star in this thriller about a husband who attempts to break his wife out of prison after she is found guilty of a murdering her boss.
Legally Blonde – RTE 2 – 9.35pm
Reece Witherspoon plays a college student who was recently dumped by her boyfriend because he didn’t consider her to be serious enough to be worth dating, so she sets out to prove him and everyone else wrong by enrolling in Harvard Law School.
Almost Famous – RTE One – 11.30pm
Patrick Fugit, Billy Crudup, Kate Hudson and Frances McDormand star in this sorta-autographical story of a young writer in the 1970s who ends up travelling with a rock’n’roll band across America during a tour.
Thoroughbreds – Channel 4 – 12.10am
Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor Joy star in this dark comedy about two best friends who hatch a scheme to set them up financially for life, no matter what it might cost other people in their lives.
The Wolverine – FilmFour – 1.15am
The second of the three standalone Wolverine movies (and also the second-best of them) sees Logan heading to Japan to reunite with an old friend, only to get caught up in the middle of an evil plot.
