And the Central Statistics Office are here to help: they’ve created a very informative interactive map which shows all the areas in Ireland that have the highest percentage of singletons.
Single people (counted as non-married), make up 41.1% of the Irish population aged 15 and over, or 1,544,862 people.
Places in red on the map have a percentage of over 50% that classify as single, so here’s where you should try find love:
Maynooth
Sligo
Galway
