Take a step back in time, to this little library with the interior design of J.R.R Tolkien´s Hobbit hole on the secluded Inch Island in Donegal.
The Library is the previous basement of a large, historic house on Moress Farm, and comes equipped with a kitchen, a living area and a master bedroom.
With a lovely hand-picked selection of books, guests are invited to sit, read, write and enjoy the nature the island of Inch has to offer.
Sounds like a dream come true…
The house itself dates back to the 17th century, and has recently been undergoing renovations for the past year- and now is fitted with hotel furnishings and the comforts of a modern home.
Just look at the beautiful touches in the interior, from floor-to-ceiling books, bare bricks, and dark mahogany engraved wooden doors.
There’s two beaches a short walk away, as well as a wildlife reserve.
If all that doesn’t convince you, we’re fairly sure this glowing review will:
“If you are worried that there is no way the pictures will match up to the actual property…you are in for a surprise. From the moment you set foot inside the library, you are overcome with a real sense of peace.
“I think being surrounded by so many books and having the fire crackling away. Well, it makes for a unique experience. There are also lovely walks around Inch Island too. If you want a weekend away from the grind, this would be ideal.”
P.S. There’s no wifi. Heaven does exist.
