We all know that our very own wizard in residence, President Michael D Higgins, is an absolute gentleman and the cutest human to ever walk this earth.
(Okay maybe we're sliightly too obsessed with him - no judgement, plz.)
There's been photos of this dote riding a BMX on a skate ramp, but that legendary snap may have just been outdone by this latest photo taken on Salthill Promenade, Galway.
Yep - Michael D is just full on having the casual chats with a man and his parrot.
The pure perfection of a photo was papped by Noel McDonagh, who told The Irish Mirror all about the moment.
"He stopped and was talking to everyone and when I spotted the bird on his shoulder I had to have a picture.
"I'm sorry we didn't get one with him now.
"He had security with him but he was so nice chatting to everyone. He really is a man of the people."
And 'the people' are absolutely loving this latest addition to the album of Pres Higgins.

If the man can even shoot the breeze with exotic birds on his Sunday stroll then we're of the mindframe that he can pretty much anything.
