Thor leads the line-up for this week’s Graham Norton show

Graham Norton show

Back with another stellar line-up of guests, Graham Norton will be joined virtually by Chris Hemsworth, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Richard E Grant and Joe Lycett.

The only thing that differentiates one end of the week from the next, is what’s on the telly – and Friday nights are reserved for Graham Norton and his red chair. Adapting to the social distancing measures put in place, the show has been going ahead thanks to a new virtual format.

Viewers were initially unsure about the new set-up but it’s proven to work considerably better than first expected, with fans warming to the virtual chit chat.

Last week saw the popular Cork funnyman welcome Sir Patrick Stewart, Ricky Gervais and Thandie Newton on the show – with music coming from Christine and the Queens. This week will see another bout of famous faces join the line-up with the likes of Chris Hemsworth, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Richard E Grant and Loe Lycett all making an appearance.

Chris Hemsworth will be on to discuss his new movie Extraction – released on Netflix this Friday. Arguably best known for his portrayal of the Marvel character, Thor, Hemsworth made headlines back in March when he revealed that he’d be giving free access to his six-week online training plan.

Equipped with a full catalogue of insider tips and tricks, users have access to training advice, nutritional info, meditation guides and even sleep visualisation techniques – all of which come in very handy while exercising from home (ripped Avengers physique sadly not included).

Fleabag creator and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge will also join via webcam. Using her time to help out however she can,  Phoebe is streaming the original Fleabag stage show online in an effort to raise much-needed funds for frontline staff.

The Oscar-nominated Richard E Grant will pop on to discuss his latest work – Dispatches from Elsewhere, while comedian Joe Lycett will talk viewers through his new series as well as his recent name change to Hugo Boss…

Quite the all-star gang. Tune in this Friday at 9pm.
