Caitriona Perry Has Spoken About THAT Donald Trump Moment For The First Time

It's been quite a week for RTÉ's Washington correspondent Caitriona Perry as she was revealed to be one half of the new Six One presenting team alongside Keelin Shanley.

After four years of stellar work in the States, Perry appeared on The Late Late Show last night to discuss her career with Ryan Tubridy but from the start it was clear that Tubs only wanted to talk about one thing. 

Perry received global attention a few months back after President Trump made some comments to her in the Oval Office while on the phone to Leo Varadkar and she revealed some interesting thoughts about the furore last night. 

Perry insisted she was a lot more nonplussed about the whole thing than certain social media commentators who, depending on their view, sought to claim that she was either extremely offended or not offended at all without having even asked her opinion.

She was also quick to point out that the woman heard giggling during the infamous clip was not in fact her. 

For such a successful journalist, Perry is a captivating interviewee in her own right.
