Feck The Toy Show – Graham Norton’s Got Three Music Legends On The Sofa Tonight

James Fenton

The nation of Ireland is holding its breath as we prepare to officially ring in Christmas 2017 with The Late Late Toy Show tonight.

There’ll be songs, dancing and craic aplenty but it’s still a bit too early for some people so we’ve got the perfect Friday night TV alternative for the ‘Bah Humbuggers’ out there.

Graham Norton brings his weekly chat show to BBC 1 and this week’s line-up is one of the best we’ve seen in a while. Here’s who’s snuggling up on the red sofa tonight:

Elton John

Pop royalty will be in the building as Elton John drops in to discuss his life and stellar career. We reckon Graham will be quizzing him about Prince Harry’s upcoming wedding and whether he’ll be asked to perform at the do.

Robbie Williams

There’s male British pop stars aplenty as cheeky chappie Robbie Williams will be in the house. The former party-loving 43-year-old has settled down now with a wife and two kids but we’re sure he’ll still have a few tales to tell.

Stephen Fry

The 59-year-old will be on to discuss his new book ‘Mythos’, which is a retelling of Greek myths.

Carey Mulligan

The English actress known for roles in Pride & Prejudice and The Great Gatsby will speak about her life in film and her marriage to Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons.

Pink

The Pennsylvanian singer will complete Graham’s hat-trick of pop superstars tonight. The 38-year-old will be providing tonight’s musical performance and we’ll bet it’s a rendition of her current mega-hit ‘What About Us?’, which was co-written by Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid.

The Graham Norton Show starts on BBC 1 tonight at 11.05pm. Sure we might as well catch some of the Toy Show first…
