Corrie Star Reveals She’s Going To Become A Grandmother At The Age Of 42

Coronation Street star and former Hear’Say (remember them?) singer Kym Marsh has revealed to OK! magazine that she’s going to be a grandmother at the age of 42.

The actress, who plays Michelle Connor on the ITV soap, told the publication that her daughter Emilie Cunliffe (21) is expecting a baby with her boyfriend of six months.

Marsh sprang to fame in the year 2000 when she appeared on reality show Popstars before eventually being chosen as one of the members of pop group Hear’Say. The quintet went on to release four singles before breaking up in 2002 with Kym joining the cast of Corrie four years later.

Speaking about her daughter’s pregnancy, Marsh told OK! that “We’re over the moon. It makes me feel so emotional that my baby is having a baby of her own.”
