One Of Louis Theroux’s Most Recent Documentaries Is One RTE2 Tonight

Already feeling the Sunday fear? Pop on your pjs, dive into a huge bowl of microwave popcorn and snuggle in for an evening watching one of Louis Theroux’s most recent documentaries on the telly. 

Louis cures all, basically. 

Showing on RTE2 at 9.30pm is Dark States – Heroin Town, a deeply moving episode from a three-part series where Louis visits three American cities and examines a uniquely devastating human crisis in each – heroin addiction, sex trafficking and murder.

“In Huntington, West Virginia, Louis Theroux embeds himself in an Appalachian community that is being devastated and stretched to its limits by widespread heroin use. He spends time with members of the user community that are caught in the grip of drug addiction, and follows the emergency services as they struggle to cope with multiple overdoses each day.”
