‘Rugrats’ Is Coming Back For 26 New Episodes And A Movie

It was the cartoon sensation of the ’90s and now Rugrats is returning for brand new episodes and a movie.

Variety reports that all the big babies out there will soon be able to enjoy the antics of Tommy, Angelica et al once more after Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures announced a relaunch of the franchise.

26 episodes have been ordered as well as a film featuring CGI versions of all the old favourite characters and a whole bunch of new ones.

Brian Robbins, President of Paramount Players said:

“Now feels like the ideal time to reintroduce this iconic cast of characters to a whole new generation of young fans.

“Kids who grew up with Tommy Pickles and the “Rugrats” crew will now be able to share that experience with their own children.”
